CMCT distributes about 40 wheelchairs every month to those who are handicapped through its partnership with FWM in USA. Many recipients have said that the wheelchair has given them a fresh new start as it helps them engage in different activities that they were unable to do previously. Being mobile helps them feel more independent and this in turn boosts their sense of confidence and dignity. They are able to contribute more meaningfully to their own families and communities.
