The children’s hostel provides safe accommodation for young girls from rural areas and remote villages, who are studying at the Bethany School. Many of these girls come from situations where they would not be able to attend school regularly. Apart from being a safe place to stay, girls are provided with nourishing meals, clothing, personal needs, school uniforms, medical care and transportation to their schools or courses. All the girls are motivated to complete their schooling. Depending on their aptitude, they are then encouraged to pursue higher education or enrol in vocational training courses. House mothers working on a shift basis are available 24/7 to look after the girls and counsel them.

CMCT expanded my horizons. I have been able to increase my skills through training programs for which I was sent. I began my career as a teacher, but CMCT gave me the opportunity to be a designer, a leader, and a mentor to women from difficult backgrounds.
