The art and design section is an offshoot of the handicraft center. It comprises mostly of men from impoverished backgrounds who have a creative flair. They men are encouraged to produce their own art pieces or to provide templates for the women at the handicraft center. They are also trained in textile and screen printing. The screen printing unit meets all the stationery requirements of CMCT and its various projects.
CMCT expanded my horizons. I have been able to increase my skills through training programs for which I was sent. I began my career as a teacher, but CMCT gave me the opportunity to be a designer, a leader, and a mentor to women from difficult backgrounds.

CMCT has given us so many opportunities. It has always been ‘home,’ not just a hostel. I think every sponsor with CMCT should know that thanks to their support, children are getting a chance to realize their fullest potential.
