For many children, the streets are the only home they have ever known. Many of them have never experienced the nurturing care of a parent or enjoyed the luxury of childhood as they are forced into a life of beggary and thieving from a young age.

Our staff identify these vulnerable children and try to introduce them to some element of stability. We provide them with nourishing meals, conduct classes to help them with basic reading skills, encourage them to study in formal schools, and provide them with extra tuition so they can catch up with their peers. We also try to enrol them into our sponsorship program.

A space to study! Very often, children on the streets lack a space where they can focus on their studies.
Small batches ensure that teachers can give every child personalized attention, which is often lacking in large classrooms. Here we see a teacher monitoring the reading of two students while another teacher provides one-on-one tutoring to a young student.
Children are split into smaller groups to ensure that every child gets personalized attention.
Study spaces seek to recreate the atmosphere of the classroom in a formal school.
